Understand what the designation covers

The traditional Shizuoka water-wasabi system was designated a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System in 2018. This regional designation does not certify this publication or our proposed farm.

Connect a story to the actual purchase

Check the origin, seller and product format for the rhizome you are ordering. A broad regional story is not a tasting guarantee for every product carrying that place name.

Check access before visiting

Confirm public access and booking arrangements before a trip. A growing area is a working place, not automatically an open attraction. Future visit reports will be based on actual, permitted visits.

Questions & answers
